Prof. Dr Rupprecht Podszun holds the Chair in Civil Law, German Competition Law, and European Competition Law at Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf and is Director of the university’s Institute for Competition Law (IKartR). He has received multiple awards for his outstanding teaching. Since 2013 he has been an Affiliated Research Fellow of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. Previously, Prof. Podszun taught at the University of Bayreuth from 2013 and 2016 and was a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University in 2017. He is Vice-President of the Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) and runs the blog www.d-kart.de.
