Prof. Andrew Murray

Andrew Murray is Professor of Law at the London School of Economics (LSE) and an expert in the field ofcyber-regulation and information technology law. Murray´s research interests focus on the emerging disciplines of cyber-regulation, cyber-law, cyber-governance, regulatory theories in the environment of cyberspace, and the regulation of the domain name system. He joined the LSE Law Department in September 2000. Murray is a Fellow of Gray´s Inn as well as holding memberships of the Society of Computers and Law (SCL) and the David Hume Institute, and Associate Membership of the AHRB Research Centre for Research into Intellectual Property and Technology. From 2001 to 2004 he was an Executive Member of the British and Irish Law, Education and Technology Association (BILETA).From 2002 to 2008 he was a recognized “Independent Expert” of the NominetUK Dispute Resolution Procedure.
