Martin Schallbruch is a senior researcher for Cyber Innovation and Cyber Regulation as well as Deputy Director at the Digital Society Institute at the ESMT Berlin. He is Chairman of the Commission “Competition law 4.0” of the German federal ministry of economics working for the adaptation of competition law in light of the digitalization. For eleven years he had been IT-Director of the department of the interior and between 2014-2016 manager for information technology, digital society, and cybersecurity. Since 2018 he is visiting fellow at the Stanford University in California.
