Anticipating the topic of the Convoco Forum 2009 „The Demographic Problem as a Danger to Legal Culture and Economy“, a Convoco Lecture was held in the Mars-Venus-Saal of the Bavarian National Museum in Munich on 10 February 2009.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Paul Kirchhof gave an introduction, which was followed by Prof. Dr. Herwig Birg explaining the situation and his standpoints concerning the topic of “The Demographic Turning Point – Causes and Consequences for Germany and Europe.”

This Convoco Lecture was organized in cooperation with the Technical University Munich.
