Anticipating the topic of the Convoco Forum 2008 “The renewal of the financial state”, a Convoco Lecture was held in the Mars-Venus-Saal of the Bavarian National Museum in Munich on 12 February 2008.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Paul Kirchhof gave an introduction, which was followed by Prof. Dr. Robert K. Frhr. von Weizsäcker explaining the situation and his standpoints concerning the topic of “State Debt and Democracy”.

This Convoco Lecture was organized in cooperation with the Technical University Munich.
